UKC CH. Royal Sparkle Explosion

AKA

JUBILEE

What can I say about the newest addition to the family???  This is one HYPER dog.  Do they make "doggie ritalin"?

Jubilee is very smart.  She learned her name in about 2 days.  Of course, that might have something to do with the fact that she is a BIG chowhound.  Every time I gave her any food, I would call her name.  Took her NO time to come running when I called her name!

Ok.  We had a puppy match today (11/11/07).  The judge for our group was supposed to be the judge for the Best Puppy as well.  He also judged the toys.  He was going NUTS for the Italian Greyhound.  I wasn't looking forward to going back in the ring.  However, the judges got switched.  We wound up showing under Judge Doreen Tietjin.  We won Best Puppy in Match.  We recieved several very nice commments on Jubilee's stacking, gait and overall attitude in the ring.  Jubilee beat 35 dogs that day.

Jubilee went to her first AKC show in the beginning of January 2008.  Her very first show, she took reserve.  On the 2nd day (2nd show), she took Winners Bitch, then defeated Winners Dog to take Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex.

The very next weekend, Jubilee went with her Dad to the UKC shows.  She won the first show to take Best of Winners (BOW) and Best of Breed (BOB).  In the group ring, she actually took a Group 2.  I was very excited by this, as she beat a 2 yr old Grand Champion Samoyed.

The last weekend in June, we spent our 2nd weekend at some UKC shows.  We entered 3 shows that weekend.  Jubilee took a Group 1 in her 1st and 3rd shows, and a Group 2 in her 2nd show.  So, she became UKC Ch. Royal Sparkle Explosion.  Plus with 4 wins, she is now tied for the Number One Chow Chow in the country in UKC.

Jubilee has had various wins over the last year.  She became a champion with the help of Aunt Sharon and Uncle Tony being shown in the "Bred-by" class.  On Sunday 11/23 we went to the New England Chow Chow Specialty.  Jubilee won "Best of Opposite" out of 27 dogs showing that day.  And I actually showed her.  I was PRETTY darn excited!

Out of her last 5 shows, Jubilee took Best of Opposite Sex 4 times.  Two of the 4 wins were in Regional Chow Chow Specialties.  One was the aforementioned New England Chow Chow Specialty under judge Marge Caltharp.  The 2nd was at the New York Chow Chow Specialty under judge Ann Hearn.
